After all, it’s hot and dry, and water is a precious resource that our community is entrusted with conserving. But what happens where there is too much water? What happens when development changes the natural landscape and surface drainage is rerouted to properties that have not historically been subject to runoff? Most of us here in Las Vegas remember vividly the pictures of washed-out cars stacked atop one another on The Strip after a torrential summer rain.
